VISTAS has issued a draft document for review indicating a proposed approach to address the reasonable progress requirements of the Regional Haze rule. The document is an example for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

VISTAS is taking comments on this document until Friday, October 6, 2006. Comments should be sent to pat.brewer@ncmail.net and sheila.holman@ncmail.net.

This document may also be edited to reflect EPA's guidance on reasonable progress once that guidance becomes final.
